Balto's Adventures of Madagascar

It was a normal day at the Central Park Zoo in New York and everyone was just waking up. Balto, a gray half-breed dog stretched his legs as the sun rose on the zoo. His mate, Jenna, a beautiful red husky with a red bandana around her neck, was also waking up. "Another day of living here in the zoo." Just then, their wolf daughter, Aleu, was waking up along with Kodi, her husky brother. Aniu, Balto's mother, a white wolf, had gotten up from a good night's sleep. Her mate, a husky named Kodan, also woke up. "Say, today's Marty's birthday." said James, a frog who had helped Balto save the town of Nome in Alaska from the disease called diptheria. Elsewhere, Simba, the Lion King from Africa, his Lion Queen Nala, Kovu, Kiara, and Simba's parents, Mufasa and Sarabi, were also waking up. Timon and Pumbaa, their friends woke up to the warm sun of New York. Their advisor Zazu, woke up on his perch. "Alright. Now let's all go suprise Marty." said Jenna, as they were walking to Marty's pen. Alex, the famous lion of the zoo, was also planning Marty's birthday. They all hid in front of Marty's treadmill. When he was about to start running on it, they jumped up and shouted, "Suprise!" Marty was so shocked, that he jumped back and said, "Guys, do not interrupt me when I'm daydreaming." Alex replied, "Come on, Marty. We just wanted to wish you a happy birthday." "Thanks guys." Jenna asked, "Alex, is something wrong?" "I got something stuck in my teeth and I came to Marty so he can help me get it out." Marty looked in his mouth and pulled out a snowglobe. Aleu asked, "What was that doing in your mouth?!" "Suprise!" "Aw, thanks, guys." Alex said, "These aren't even on the shelf yet. Take a look." "Well, look at that. It's snowing." Jenna explained, "Those will be sold in he winter season." Balto asked, "Are you okay, Marty?" Marty replied, the present is good. It's just that I'm still doing the same thing every year." Alex explained, "You just gotta break out of that boring old routine by doing something new all the time."


"Okay, I'll do that." Just then, the bell on the clock tower rung. Balto said, "Let's get back to our habitat and prepare for tonight's party." Meanwhile, Skipper and his team of penguins were planning a breakout. They were digging to Antarctica. After a day's work of being viewed by people, the dogs had went to Marty's to prepare for the party. Just then, Skipper and the penguins popped out of the ground. "What are you guys doing?" Private replied, "We're digging to Antarctica." Skipper asked, "Can you keep a secret, my quadruped friends?" "Okay. What is it?" "You ever see any penguins running free in this city?" Balto replied, "No." "Of course not." Skipper explained, "We don't belong here. It's not natural." "What?!" "We're going to the wild." "You guys can actually go there?" Jenna replied, "Actually, Balto, Kodi, Aleu, and I once lived in the wild." "Say, we should keep working to get this place ready." Kodi replied, "You're absolutely right, James." That night when Marty made his birthday wish was, "I wished I could go to the wild!" The dogs' jaws dropped, the lions were shocked, Alex fell over, Gloria's eyes widened, and Melman swallowed his noisemaker and Marty said, "I told you guys it was bad luck." Alex replied, "That is the worst idea I have ever heard!" Nala said, "That's insane!" Kiara said, "You already have the best life here in the zoo!" "The penguins are going, so why can't I? And the dogs and lions lived out there, so what's wrong about that?" Alex replied, "The penguins are a little crazy! Plus, the dogs and lions have experience out there." Marty said that they should get outta the zoo and go back to nature. Balto said, "That's crazy talk, Marty!" "Doesn't it bother you guys that most of you don't know anything about life outside the zoo?" Alex, Gloria, and Melman said no to this question. Later that night, Alex, and the others talked to Marty and went to sleep. A few hours later, Melman came to the others. "What is it, Melman?" asked Nala. Melman replied, "Before I came to find you, Aleu and Jenna had just got up to go, and didn't see Marty in his place and they told me about it. What I'm trying to tell you is that Marty's gone!" "What?! Marty's gone?!" said Kiara, looking shocked. Aleu shouted, "Let's get out there and find that zebra!" Everyone ran through the city until they found Marty at Grand Central Station. "Guys, what are you doing here?" asked Marty. Aniu said in reply, "I would never let you throw away your great zoo life and waste it all on a ridiculous dream!" Alex held Marty by the neck and asked, "How could you do this to us?! I thought we were your friends!" Marty replied in a choked voice, "What's the big deal?! I was coming back in the morning!" Kodan said, "Don't scare us like that again!" Kodi asked, "What's with all the people?" Looking at the police, firefighters, and other people, Aniu said, terrified, "This definitely doesn't look good." "Hey! How ya doin'? Everything's alright. Our friend just went nuts." said Alex. Marty said, "Don't call me nuts!" Alex turned to Marty and yelled, "Just shush!" Bang! Alex was darted in the butt! Soon, everyone had been darted and put in boxes. The next morning, everyone had woke up in boxes. The dogs were in one large box with a large window with bars on it. Simba, and the lions, including Alex were in another large box. Marty and the others were in individual boxes. Suddenly, the boxes started tipping over and went into the water. That night, the lions and dogs landed on a strange jungle island. Everyone ran along the beach and by the following morning, everyone was worn out. Then, Melman appeared. The others followed after. Alex was at first happy to see Marty, but later, he was mad at Marty for bringing him here. Marty freaked out, turned around, and said, "Oh, shoot!" "Marty! I'm gonna kill you! Stop running so I can kill you! If you keep running I'll just kill you more!" yelled an infuriated Alex. Aniu was wise and tough and knew how to break up a fight. She said, "Enough! Now, let's find the humans and get this mess straightened out!" James said, "Hey, I think I hear music! It's coming from the jungle!" Kodan, not wasting a second, immediately took off and everyone else followed right after. Balto was the first to start running after Kodan. Jenna followed second. Kodiak immediately followed his mother. Aleu followed on the double. Simba and the lions took off after them. Aniu followed her mate and everyone ran very fast. "Guys, there's some cats over here." said James. Alex replied, "That's great! Maybe someone can help us." Balto suddenly saw a spider on Alex's back and whispered, "There's a spider on Alex's back. We'll grab it on 3. 1, 2, 3!" When Balto, Jenna, Kodi, Aleu, Kodan, and Aniu all snapped at it they simply bit Alex's back and he screamed, "Aaaaaaahhhhhh!" He turned to the dogs and said, "Guys, how many times must I tell you, no biting?" "Alex, there's a spider on your back!" shouted Aleu. Alex screamed even louder than the 1st time! Jenna gave Gloria a stick and whacked Alex to the point where it seemed the spider was gone. Suddenly, a whole group of lemurs came running out in front of everyone. King Julien, the leader said, "Welcome, giant freaks! Feel free to bask in my glow!" Then Julien said, "You must tell me, who the heck are you?" "I'm Alex, and this is Gloria, Marty and Melman." Alex replied. Balto said, "By the way, I'm no giant freak. I'm Balto and this is my family." Jenna said, "I'm Jenna." Aleu answered, "I'm Balto's daughter, Aleu." Kodi answered Julien's question by saying, "I'm Kodiak, Aleu's brother." Kodan said, "I'm Kodan, Balto's father." Aniu said, "I am Aniu, Balto's mother." Simba introduced himself along with the other lions. "Wow. You have a lot of dark brown and black fur. Man!" said Maurice, Julien's second in command. Alex asked, "By the way, where are the people?" Julien replied, "They're up there." everyone looked up to see a skeleton. James said, "Actually, we weren't really looking for dead people. We were looking for live people." Maurice replied, "If we had a lot of live people here, it wouldn't be called the wild." "Then it would be a 'live in a mud hut and wipe yourself with a leaf' kind of wild?" asked Alex. Julien laughed and asked the lemurs, "Who wipes?" No one answered. Jenna said in complete shock and horror, "Oy vey." "Now this is just crazy." said Nala. James replied in a whisper, "You can say that again!" Timon was so shocked that he said, "Oh, sugar honey iced tea!"
