Winnie the Pooh: A Very Merry Pooh Year

Pooh was just getting the tree into his house and today was Christmas Eve. As soon as the tree was in place, there was knocking on the door. On the outside, the others were waiting. Rabbit, Piglet, Tigger, Kanga, Roo, Balto, Jenna, Kodi, Aleu, Kodan, and Aniu were all waiting paciently for the door to open. Gopher came out an asked, "What's going on up here?" Aniu replied, "Well, Pooh doesn't seem to be home." Gopher knocked on the door and said, "Come on, open up. It's Christmas Eve for cryin' out loud!" A while later, Kovu, Kiara, Simba, Nala, Mufasa, Sarabi, Timon, Pumbaa, Santa Car, Tiana, and Naveen showed up. Since the door was unlocked, everyone opened the door. Rabbit said, "Alright, everyone. Let's get ready. We have a lot to do before the party." Balto and the dogs hauled a whole load of food on their old sled used in the Serum Run when coming in for the party. Tiana asked, "Hey, dogs. What's in that bag on the sled?" Jenna replied, "Oh, that's the food for the tree-trimming party." Aniu and Kodan both lay down near the fire and Simba and the lions decorated the tree with their African decorations. A few hours later, Pooh and the others recalled somethings that had happened on Christmas in the past. "You know, it's a night like this that reminds me of that Christmas when Santa almost forgot to give us our gifts." said Rabbit. James said, "Well, that was a Christmas I'll never forget!" Aniu asked, "He almost forgot?! Well, I hope that doesn't happen again!" Balto laughed and said, "Well, Mother, that was a great Christmas." "In the end, I drove in with the gifts in my trunk." said Santa Car. "Those 2 days, we learned that the greatest gifts are our memories." "Did someone say gifts?" asked Santa Car, who backed up and opened his trunk, revealing the gifts. Jenna unwrapped her gift and saw that it was a new harness from Balto. "This is beautiful!" she said. Aleu was given a medallion, representing her leadership of the whole pack from James. He put it around her strong canine neck. On the back it said, "This wolf belongs to: James." James got a red bandana. With it, there was a note. It said, "I took this off my neck to give to you. I hope you like it. Sincerely, Jenna." James hugged Jenna and said, "Thank you, Jenna. I'll treasure it always." He then tied the bandana around his neck. Timon and Pumbaa were given a whole bunch of bugs. Simba, Nala, Kiara, Kovu, Mufasa, and Sarabi were given royal outfits honoring their roles as leaders of the Pridelands. The dogs, including Aniu and Kodan, were given a new dogsled, bigger and it could haul even heavier loads than the load in the Serum Run. The next day, everyone began to share their gifts with their friends. "Thanks for the sled, James!" Balto called out to James. James shouted back, "Glad you guys like it!" Rabbit gathered firewood and loaded it on the dogsled. "Okay, guys. You can carry that back and I'll continue to gather." Rabbit said to the dogs. "Alright. Now, move out!" The dogs all ran back to the house. There, the fire was still burning. Aniu and Kodan threw the sticks and logs on the fire and they decided to go out and help their family haul firewood with their new sled. Tiana and Naveen slipped the harnesses onto Aniu and Kodan and they immediately got the sled to Rabbit. Meanwhile, Pooh was looking for something. He had soon looked until it was New Year's Eve. By now, he had forgotten what he was looking for. Tonight, Christopher Robin was throwing a New Year's Party at Rabbit's house.
